Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using Ave Audio ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service. We may update these terms from time to time; continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

2. Description of Service

Ave Audio is a web-based platform that allows users to create AI-generated audio prayers using text-to-speech technology, build prayer playlists, and browse a community catalog of audio prayers. The Service is provided by Ave Audio and hosted on Vercel.

3. Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. One person may not maintain more than one account.

4. Credits and Payments

The Service uses a credit system where 1 credit equals 1 second of generated audio. New accounts receive 60 free credits. Additional credits can be purchased in packs via Stripe. All purchases are in US dollars.

Credits do not expire. Credit purchases are non-refundable except where required by applicable law. If you believe a charge was made in error, contact us at support@aveaudioai.com within 14 days.

5. Content and Intellectual Property

Your content: You retain ownership of the prayer text you write. By generating audio on the Service, you grant Ave Audio a non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, distribute, and display your generated audio prayers within the platform.

Catalog prayers: Traditional prayer texts in our catalog are in the public domain. Audio recordings generated from these texts are owned by their respective creators.

AI-generated audio: Audio is generated using third-party text-to-speech technology (ElevenLabs). You may use your generated audio for personal, educational, and non-commercial purposes. Commercial redistribution of generated audio outside the platform requires separate licensing.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service to generate content that is hateful, defamatory, or illegal
• Attempt to reverse-engineer the AI voice synthesis technology
• Automate access to the Service beyond normal usage (scraping, bots)
• Resell credits or access to the Service
• Impersonate another person or entity

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

7. Content Moderation

Generated audio prayers may be reviewed before being made available in the public catalog. We reserve the right to remove content that violates our acceptable use policy. Creators can use their own generated prayers regardless of catalog approval status.

8. Service Availability

We strive to keep the Service available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. Scheduled maintenance will be communicated in advance when possible.

9. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Ave Audio shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Termination

You may delete your account at any time. We may terminate or suspend your account for violations of these terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Purchased credits are non-refundable upon voluntary account deletion.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of the state where Ave Audio is incorporated.
