Prayer texts

The traditional prayers in the Ave Audio catalog — the Our Father, Hail Mary, Memorare, the mysteries of the Rosary, novenas, litanies, and prayers to the saints — use their established Catholic wording. We do not paraphrase or modernize these texts. Prayers written by Ave Audio members are credited to the member on each prayer's page.

History, meaning, and FAQs

The sections that explain each prayer — its history, its meaning, when Catholics pray it, and the frequently asked questions — were drafted with the help of AI and then edited by our founder, Kyle Kufeldt, before publishing. Drafts are written against the Church's own documents wherever possible:

• The Roman Missal
• The Catechism of the Catholic Church
• Documents of the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB)
• Ecumenical councils and papal encyclicals

When a detail such as a date or an author cannot be confirmed, we describe it at the level we can stand behind (for example, “from the medieval Church”) rather than guess.

Audio

Prayers are voiced with AI voice synthesis. The voice used for each recording is shown on the prayer's page, and many prayers are available in more than one voice.
